March 31 I am on my journeyI know what I want.
The moment I saw your embroidery, the paint of Jesus, I can feel the permeating sense of love in every stitch. I can imagine how excruciating the moment was when you tried to get the dizzy sight on that work of art. Any language of appreciation could be the underestimation of your love and soul.
So I keep quite for the sake of being indescribably grateful.
Love will prevail.
Lucky that I find what I am talented for and what I love to do.
It's quite fun to know a new friend from PeKing Uni. What really strikes me is the awareness that I am going to be almost nothing without English and You.
You know. We are heading for SOMEWHERE ONLY WE KNOW.
Our Eternal Dream.
Avril.
We are all those who have true souls. The spirituality.
The Rejuvenation of Chinese Culture When China becomes the frequent focus of western media and the made-in-China products take up the role of necessity in daily lives of the people all over the world, no one can justifiably dispute the influence of a rejuvenating China. We are delighted to witness the stupendous progress made by the brilliant and diligent Chinese people in various fields. The launching of manned spaceship and the imminent Olympic Games stir far-reaching national pride. However, the cool-headed must be aware of the seemingly cruel fact that we are just catching up with the top ones in all of those modern scientific researches. Of course that’s not the reason for us to be disheartened. The Odyssey of being on the primary stage of socialism implies the laborious journey ahead. The momentum of the modern China is immeasurably tremendous. Nevertheless, several decades’ development can hardly overshadow the consecutive brilliance of five thousand years. The new China was established on the elimination of the feudalism. But the feudalism is not the embodiment of traditional Chinese culture. The legacy of our ancestors should be well preserved for the well-being of us. As a student majoring in TCM, I can definitely feel the significance of our traditional culture. The grandeur of traditional Chinese culture reaches far beyond our estimation and perception. Recently, a series of lectures initiated by CCTV rekindle the passion and interest for Chinese history and culture among the people from all social strata. The waxing awareness of Chinese identity not only consolidates the national confidence, but also endear the mainland to our compatriots in Hong Kong and Taiwan who share the same origin and history with us. I am a little surprised to find that the Analects of Confucius is collected with the Holy Bible in the same book of Harvard Classics as the most sacred writings in the history of all humans. Those notions like establishing a harmonious society were proposed thousand years ago by our ancestors. Nan Huaijin, the master of Chinese Classics’ learning, said in his book that without any purposeful distortions and implications, the teachings of Confucius will have immortal values for people of all time. I firmly believe that as long as we can justly value and apply the treasure bequeathed by our ancestors, the rise of a new China will be unparalleled in the history of civilization. The economic boom is the prerequisite of the cultural rejuvenation. Serving as the vehicle of the transmission of culture, China’s economy is in the highlight on the international stage. When the Sino-mania is heating the worldwide passion for the awakening Dragon, the rejuvenation of Chinese culture will unquestionably be the most expected moment of all the Chinese as well as the whole world.
我最喜欢的应该就是The book of Job(约伯记).
